Coming from a cooler climate, this wine presents aromas of strawberry, raspberry, rose, and bay leaf. Youthful tannins and beautiful concentration. Can be enjoyed now for its fruit, or after a few years of aging.

Wine profile

The opinion of sommelier David Biraud

The opinion of sommelier David Biraud
Here we have the Es Chezots lieu-dit from Domaine Bart. A Marsannay that is intense in color, still purplish, with blackcurrant reflections. A frank, clear aromatic palette, encompassing all the primary aromas of the Pinot Noir grape: fresh black cherry, strawberry juice, blackberry coulis, combining with the minerality and smoky notes of the clay-limestone soils of this seductive Burgundy. A supple, tangy attack on the palate, evolving towards a quality acidic framework that provides freshness and vibrancy. A lovely fine and smooth texture. Very good persistence, with notes of toasted bread and fruit brandy. Succulent.
