Founded in 1906 in Ludes, a Premier Cru village at the foot of the Montagne de Reims, Maison J.H. Quenardel is now run by Jean-Charles Quenardel, a qualified oenologist. The house practices responsible viticulture, using vine- and eco-friendly methods certified High Environmental Value (HVE) and Sustainable Viticulture.

JH Quenardel House

The Quenardel family has been managing the estate for four generations. Its parcels, spread across several crus, are planted with the three traditional grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. The grapes are carefully hand-harvested, and the champagnes undergo extended aging in the cellar—sometimes up to seven years—to fully develop their aromatic profile.
