The 1618 Rosé Bio 2022 blends two grape varieties to combine structure and freshness. Its name refers to the golden ratio, a symbol of harmony. Harvested at dawn, the grapes are pressed in whole bunches. Fermentation begins in stainless steel vats and continues in ovoid concrete vats, adding complexity and minerality. The wine rests on total lees for a year and a half, revealing finesse and balance.

The opinion of sommelier David Biraud
The Cuvée 1618 Rosé Bio 2022 blends two grape varieties to combine structure and freshness. Its name refers to the golden ratio, a symbol of harmony. Harvested at dawn, the grapes are pressed in whole bunches. Fermentation begins in stainless steel tanks then continues in concrete egg-shaped tanks, bringing complexity and minerality. The wine rests on its total lees for a year and a half, revealing finesse and balance. Its color is pale, very clear, a rose petal pink, reminiscent of a hidden white. Very nice viscosity. Delicate, floral aromas, light rose water, red fruit juice, redcurrant, sugared raspberry, everything is delicate. Round, very smooth, enveloping in the mouth, the winemaking work is paramount and gives us such a pleasant mouthfeel. The acidity supports the Grenache matter very well. Saline finish, and very good length. A rosé wine with the dimension of a white wine, with refreshing and fruity aromas.
